Strong 8K IPTV: What the Name Means, Reddit Claims and Invoices

By the Sphere IPTV team · Updated

“Strong 8K IPTV” is a name used by many websites and resellers selling IPTV subscriptions; we could not identify a single company, official website or published ownership behind it. It is not the same as STRONG, a European brand of satellite receivers and Google TV boxes, and we found nothing linking the two. Seller pages list payment by methods such as crypto, money transfer or PayPal confirmed over WhatsApp, and we found no verifiable evidence that formal invoices are issued.

What “Strong 8K IPTV” refers to

Searching for Strong IPTV or Strong 8K returns a cluster of different domains, each presenting itself as the official service, with differing channel counts, prices and contact details. Several of them also advertise “reseller panels” — accounts that let other people buy credits and sell subscriptions under the same name.

That matters because two people who both “bought Strong 8K” may have paid different sellers, with different support and refund behaviour, and possibly different servers. Reviews of one seller tell you little about another.

If you were looking for a STRONG Android or Google TV box, that is a hardware purchase; you would still need a separate service to watch IPTV. See our IPTV box guide.

What “8K” really means here

8K is 7680 × 4320 pixels, four times the pixels of 4K. Watching true 8K needs an 8K TV, a device that can decode 8K video and far more bandwidth than 4K. Regular 8K live channels are extremely rare anywhere in the world, and most streaming devices can't decode 8K at all.

In IPTV branding, “8K” is best read as a marketing label rather than a description of the channels. If picture quality matters, ask which channels are actually in 4K or HD, and read our 4K IPTV guide to see what your setup needs.

Strong 8K IPTV on Reddit

Many people search Reddit for honest opinions. When we researched this guide, we couldn't verify an established public Reddit community or thread that we could cite reliably, and several “what Reddit says” articles we found were published by sites selling the service — they are not independent summaries.

If you read Reddit threads about any IPTV name, weigh them carefully:

  • Check the date — IPTV services change servers and sellers quickly, so old praise may not apply.
  • Look at the poster's history; brand-new accounts recommending one seller are a warning sign.
  • Notice which seller each person used; experiences with different resellers aren't comparable.
  • Treat any single post as one opinion, not as evidence of how the service works for everyone.

Does Strong 8K IPTV use invoices?

We found no verifiable evidence that sellers using the Strong 8K name issue formal invoices. Seller pages we reviewed list payment methods such as PayPal, cryptocurrency (for example USDT), bank transfer and money-transfer services, with payment confirmed in a WhatsApp chat and login details sent afterwards.

Before paying any IPTV seller, consider how you would get your money back if something went wrong:

  • PayPal says personal (“friends and family”) payments are not covered by its Purchase Protection; goods-and-services payments may be.
  • Cryptocurrency and money-transfer payments are generally very hard to reverse.
  • Ask for a written receipt naming the seller, the plan, the amount, the date and the refund terms, and keep it.

If a seller stops responding after you pay

Resold IPTV accounts can stop working when a seller disappears or a server changes. If that happens, act quickly:

  1. Save the chat, payment confirmation, the website address and any login details you received.
  2. If you paid by card or a PayPal goods-and-services payment, open a dispute with the card issuer or PayPal as soon as possible — these have time limits.
  3. Report suspected fraud to your national authority, for example the FTC at ReportFraud.ftc.gov in the US or Action Fraud in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
  4. Change any password you reused with the seller, and don't pay a second “reactivation” fee.

How to evaluate a seller using the name

  1. Can you identify who runs this specific site, and how to contact them other than a chat number?
  2. Is there a real channel list rather than a headline number?
  3. Are terms, renewal and refund rules published before you pay?
  4. Is a short test or a one-month plan available?
  5. Does the payment method offer any buyer protection?

Our IPTV brand research guide applies the same approach to other names, and is IPTV legal? explains why licensing matters.

Sphere IPTV has no connection with Strong 8K IPTV or with STRONG. Our prices, terms and refund policy are published, and accepted payment methods are confirmed in the WhatsApp chat before you pay.

Frequently asked questions

Is Strong 8K IPTV the same as STRONG receivers?

No. STRONG is a European brand of receivers and TV boxes. We found nothing connecting it with the IPTV subscriptions sold under the Strong 8K name.

Does Strong 8K IPTV really stream in 8K?

Regular 8K live channels are extremely rare, and most devices can't decode 8K. Treat the name as branding and ask which channels are actually HD or 4K.

Does Strong 8K IPTV give invoices?

We found no verifiable evidence of formal invoices. Ask the specific seller for a written receipt before paying, and prefer payment methods with buyer protection.

Which Strong 8K website is the official one?

We couldn't verify any of them as official. Several sites claim the name and some advertise reseller panels, so you are always buying from a particular seller.
