Android comes in two forms, and the best apps differ between them. How to install Sphere IPTV on Android
Install a player app
Open Google Play and search for your chosen player. On Android TV and Google TV, use the Play Store on the box itself so you get the TV version of the app.
If the app is not on Google Play
Download the APK from the developer's official website and allow your browser or file manager to install unknown apps when Android asks. On Google TV, you may first need to enable developer mode under Settings → System → About by selecting the build number seven times.

Configuration tips for Android
- On phones, turn off battery optimisation for your player so Android does not close it during playback.
- If a channel plays sound but no picture, switch the player's decoder between hardware and software in its settings.
- Streaming on mobile data uses a lot of data. Use Wi-Fi where you can, or pick a lower quality stream.
- Most Android players can cast or send streams to an external player such as VLC if you prefer its controls.
