Apple TV models
All Apple TV 4K generations and the Apple TV HD can run Sphere IPTV. The Apple TV 4K is the stronger choice for high-resolution channels and fast navigation through long channel lists.
Apps on Apple TV come only from the tvOS App Store, and the selection of IPTV players is smaller than on Android. Some tvOS players are paid. Search for “IPTV” on the Apple TV and check that an app supports Xtream Codes before buying.
How to set up Sphere IPTV on Apple TV
Install a tvOS player
Open the App Store on the Apple TV, search for an IPTV player with Xtream Codes support and install it.
Get your login on WhatsApp
Order your plan on WhatsApp and mention Apple TV. We send your server URL, username and password.
Enter your details
Typing on the Apple TV remote is slow. Many players let you enter details from your iPhone via the on-screen keyboard prompt or a companion web page — use that if available.
Turn on Match Content
Go to Settings → Video and Audio → Match Content and turn on Match Frame Rate. This lets the Apple TV switch to each channel's native frame rate, which reduces judder on sport.
Configuration tips for Apple TV
- If your Apple TV 4K has an Ethernet port, use it — wired connections are more consistent than Wi-Fi for live TV.
- Keep tvOS up to date; player apps often require a recent version.
- Use your iPhone as a keyboard for faster text entry when searching or signing in.
- If your TV supports it, Match Dynamic Range avoids washed-out colours on standard channels.

Troubleshooting Sphere IPTV on Apple TV
